where it all started

My journey with nutrition started back in high school. At the time, “being healthy” meant maintaining a certain weight — something that was reinforced by what I learned in school. What I didn’t realize then was that those restrictions were quietly working against my body, fueling health challenges I’d uncover later in life.

After earning my Nutrition degree in 2015, I wasn’t entirely sure what direction to take. That uncertainty led me to pursue a master’s degree in Health Promotion and Public Health Education, where I discovered my deep interest in maternal health and early childhood development. When I completed my Dietetic Internship in 2018, I felt drawn to pediatrics — and someday, becoming a lactation consultant.

My first role as a clinical dietitian in a small hospital taught me so much: how to think critically, connect with patients, and value every small win. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was foundational.

finding my focus...

After several years in general clinical nutrition, I accepted a position at a pediatric hospital — a leap of faith that turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. I loved specializing in pediatrics and helping children thrive, but over time, I found my heart being pulled toward the mothers sitting across from me.

As I listened to their stories — their exhaustion, stress, and lack of energy — I couldn’t ignore a pattern: so many were caring deeply for their children but had little left to care for themselves.

my own experience...

I’ve personally struggled with painful menstrual cycles and hormonal imbalance for as long as I can remember. When my husband and I began trying to grow our family, we learned that my hormones weren’t functioning as they should.

What followed was a deeply personal season of navigating infertility, seeking answers, and learning to trust the process. Through this journey, I discovered how powerful nutrition and lifestyle can be when paired with the right medical care. Working alongside a NaPro technician and holistic OB-GYN, I used evidence-based nutrition to support my body’s natural healing — and it changed everything.

(A problem that is plaguing many women & is only becoming more prevalent.)

The heart behind Wildflower Nutrition Co. was inspired by the quote, “If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness — and there would be no wildflowers.” To me, it’s a reminder that nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each woman, child, and family has their own story and unique needs. Just like wildflowers, we’re each created to grow and flourish in our own beautiful way.

creating the dream

women deserve more support when it comes to their hormones, fertility, and overall well-being.

the calling within the calling

That experience deepened my conviction:

To improve my own health, I began researching everything I could about the connection between nutrition, fertility, and hormone balance — and I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself.

My goal is to help you uncover what that looks like for you — honoring your individuality, your season of life, and the body you’ve been given.

Today, through Wildflower Nutrition Co., I offer two areas of care that reflect the heart of my journey:

  • Pediatric nutrition, helping children grow, thrive, and develop healthy relationships with food.

  • Women’s hormone, fertility, and wellness support, empowering women to restore balance, optimize fertility, and feel vibrant in every season — whether they’re hoping to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or navigating motherhood.

I believe that when women are nourished — in body, mind, and spirit — their families and futures flourish. I’m honored to walk alongside women and families in every stage of that journey.

I’ve found my true calling — helping women and families nourish their bodies, find balance, and flourish. It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you grow in confidence and peace with the way you care for yourself and your family.
